Our Mentoring Programme
A mentor is a personal cheerleader, advice guru and an empowering voice saying "You've got this!" all rolled into one amazing human being.
At Lunar Learning, we provide compassionate, one-to-one mentoring for young people who are not currently attending mainstream education.
We understand that every journey is different and that being out of school can be a difficult and isolating experience. Our mentoring sessions are designed to help rebuild confidence, improve emotional well-being and support students with a transition into education through a life skills programme.
Our mentoring sessions can take place at the students’ home, an education setting or a local library. We will match each student to the perfect mentor for them.
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to the needs of the individual and may include: Creative activities such as arts and crafts, self-esteem and confidence-building tasks, physical activities and sports, meaningful conversation, emotional support and the development of social skills.
We create a safe, supportive environment where young people feel heard, respected and encouraged to grow at their own pace! We’re here to help students feel capable, empowered and supported to move forward!

Our aim is to create a lasting change in the lives of young people who may be struggling to attend an education setting.
Every young person has potential — not just to succeed, but to thrive! Our mentoring programme is designed to reignite that potential by restoring confidence, nurturing resilience, and building the emotional strength needed to move forward.
We don’t just support young people, we stand beside them! We support them through every step of the way. Through creativity, connection, and consistent care, we help them rediscover their voice, their value and their place in the world.
