At Lunar Learning; each student is offered a bespoke and personalised education package which includes English, maths and a choice of the following topics below.

The education package builder gives students access to a tailored education that helps them strive for a brighter and successful future! It gives students the opportunity to grow, flourish and develop a love for learning in a positive environment. 

Maths, English and Science

We offer engaging, inclusive and personalised maths, English and science lessons. These sessions are tailored to the needs of the student; our goal is to support the student in developing a love for learning! The tutor will initially assess the students level for maths, English and Science. The student and tutor will work together to set targets to achieve; these will then be monitored to ensure the student is on track to reaching their goal. The sessions will cover National Curriculum topics and will support students in striving towards gaining their GCSES or functional skills.

My Emotions and Me

This topic will look to explore what emotions are, why we feel them and different ways our students can help regulate their emotions. The emotions and me topic will support students with building resilience, remaining calm and understanding the emotions they feel. It will allow students to develop the skills to be able to adapt to different situations that may cause an emotion.

How do I learn best?

This topic will be personalised for students with ADHD, ASD and other additional needs. The students will discover the different ways in which a neurodiverse brain learns best. This topic will look at helping the student to understand how their brain works and how they can support their own learning journey. This will provide the students with the tools to help make their education journey a positive one.

What is happiness to me?

This topic will be look at what happiness is and ways in which we can help to boost our mood and look after our mental well-being. Students will discuss what makes them happy and learn about other ways we can promote happiness in ourselves and others.

I am unique, I am enough

This topic will look to boost self-belief, self-esteem and self-worth through confidence building activities. This topic will look to celebrate our differences, what makes us who we are and help to build a positive self-image.

My future is bright (careers project)

This topic will look to explore the students career pathway and help support them with their future aspirations. The future is bright project looks to guide students towards a fulfilling future by supporting them to reach their career ambitions.
